INTRODUCTION TO THE UNCONSCIOUS:
AS A SCIENTIFIC CONFLICT RESOLUTIO PATTERN

PARADIGM SHIFT: Challenging psychoanalytic and neuroscience conceptions of behavior the Moral Science holds that the unconscious transforms conflict to resolution along an emotional dialectic, a rollercoaster of six formally interrelated emotions as energetic states. The unconscious transforms conflicts defined as passivity, antagonism and alienation to resolutions as mastery, cooperation and mutual respect an attitude change. This "Conflict Resolution Process" abides by the laws of math and physics. The unconscious is like chlorophyll of plants an energetic transformation, a scientific homeostatic mechanism. In humans the transformation is an emotional and moral growth phenomenon.

MUSEUM OF THE CREATIVE PROCESS SCULPTURAL TRAIL IN THE HISTORY OF LOVE.

In this guided tour through the collection, sculptures retrace the struggle between the genders and the evolution of religions as discoveries of the alternative ways of resolving conflicts improving family relations. The sculptures illustrate the continuity of the shift of power and attitude restructuring women’s family roles. Thre cycle of th epics of the Goddess begins with the cruel Matriarchal Goddess of Mexico, to the seductive Sphinx "fight or flight" Helen of Troy, transformed to the feisty Penelope. Womanhood is the redefined by Kali who prevails on Siva who inspires asceticism. The role of women is reduced to the delicate Geishas of Japan, then the seductive Ishtar of Gilgamesh Epic, that inspired the temptress Eve. Then we see Hagar as a camel, Sarah as the concept of love and sacrifice. The series is completed with Virgin Mary as an angel. The next cycle analyzes in depth the Iliad and the Odyssey as the drama of the vows. The resolution of conflicts is celebrated with the Abrahamic family’s dramatizing the father-son covenant. The trail explores how cultures evolved as discoveries of the alternative approaches to resolving conflicts developing contrasting social norms which are now integrated as complimentary discoveries into the Moral Science.

Visiting the Sanctuary of Wisdom to view two exhibits, the panels of the Wizard of Oz metaphors, and the Metaphoria Murals.

We learn about the disciplines of the Moral Science, epistemology, diagnoses, assessment and therapy, finally morality.

THE GORSKI RETROSPECTIVE: IDENTIFYING THE SCIENCE BEHIND THE PATTERN

Moral Science Project, 3814 Main Street, across from the Taconic Hotel. Manchester Village
This session introduces participants to the work of Henry Gorski, one of North America’s pre-eminent figurative expressionists. The Museum houses over 100 of Gorski’s canvases organized as cycles of conflict resolution, tracing how the painter used art to transform his emotional reality. The canvases illustrate the creative process clearly identifying the emotional dialectic of six role states as canvases evolve through displaying the process from stress to response, anxiety to defense, reversal to compromise in several symbolically different cycles always leading to moral discoveries.

CREATIVITY FOR SELF-DISCOVERY: HEALING OURSELVES

Moral Science Project 3814 Main Street.

A hands on workshop with art exercises (no art skills required) for people to discover the manifestation of the Conflict Resolution Process in a sample metaphor construction exercise, an opportunity for people to discover their personality type and how to enhance their happiness and effectiveness. Participants are invited to share their insights with the group.

MORAL MONOPOLY: THE GAME, HEALING THE WORLD

Participants retrace historic and mythic sagas from Mexico, Ancient Greece, India and Mesopotamia and learn how morality evolved from these four global cultures to discover the universal values of cooperation, moderation, and mutual respect.  This non-competitive game offers a spring board to discuss the commonality among them as the discovery of the scientific principles of conflict resolution identified in the formal analysis of the creative process. The Moral Science finally fulfills the mission of religions introducing peace in the world.

POLITICAL RELEVANCE OF THE MORAL SCIENCE

This session challenges participants to apply the insights they have gathered to the contemporary political landscape. We will address questions such as how to deal with conflict generating political leaders and with moral paradigms by recognizing their types of personality based distortions of reality.

walking through the wilburton forest RETRACing DR. LEVIS'S CONFLICT RESOLUTION PROCESS THROUGH SCULPTURES.

Dr.  Levis uses sculpture to recreate the drama of his own life, from his childhood as a Jew in hiding in Athens, Greece during World War II, to a thinking skier who came to Vermont in the 70s  to a wise man sitting at with the counsel of world religions, trying to heal the world in his senior years. This outdoor exhibit uses traditional art and found objects as invitation for being creative celebrating their conflict resolution needs.
